The basic responsibility of the Membership and Administrative Committee is to give responsive and attentive priority to members and those inquiring about membership, and to promote IEATA worldwide.

Karen Estrella, who has served as Membership Committee Chair for seven years, stepped down as Chair in July of 2018. Following this, we have assembled a new Committee with Amy Morrison and Heather Thorp as Co-Chairs, Michelle North and Matthew Tucker as Committee Members, and Kathryn Boland remaining as Membership Committee Administrator.

Member Forums

Open Member Forums are happening monthly, on the 15th of each month. They’re one hour on Zoom. All members are invited to attend and participate. We’ve also decided to allow non-members to join one of these forums, as a way to get a window into what IEATA is and does. We’re receiving very positive feedback from members on these events.

Monthly Member Spotlight

Membership seeks to honor long-term, dedicated members with our monthly member spotlights. We have, to date, spot-lit one member and our next spotlight is in process. Please stay tuned!

Conference Planning

Kathryn has attended several Conference meetings in order to represent Membership and learn how the Committee can assist. Once conference registration is live, she (and potentially other committee members) will begin a Membership Drive reaching out to all Expired Members with encouragement to register for the conference and re-register as IEATA members.

MemberClicks

We have offered two different MemberClicks trainings for various IEATA board members and are very willing to do more.
